in Sai Khao Beach are open from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30. Both bank offices also run currency exchange counters with longer opening hours. ATM machines are also available on Klong Prao Beach and Kai Bae Beach.

When changing traveller cheques or cashing money with your credit card you have to show your passport.

Beaches

Keep yourself out of the sun during the first days of your holiday, stay in the shadow and use a sun lotion with high UV-protection.

Even if you see others doing "it"..., please show respect for the Thai culture and do not (sun)bath naked in lakes, waterfalls at the beach or in the open sea.

The local currency is the Thai Baht. There are coins of 1, 2, 5 and 10 Baht and notes of 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1.000 Baht.
