Airport Transfers to Koh Chang Island

There are many different ways to reach Koh Chang Island. You could fly from Bangkok directly to Trat airport and then transfer by minibus to the next ferry pier. You could also take a bus from Bangkoks Eastern Bus Terminal Ekamai to Trat (daytime or overnight) and transfer by a roofed pick-up truck (Songthaew) to Ban Laem Ngop, where regular ferry services will take you to the island. Travelling by public transportation in Thailand is safe, fun and easy and getting here will be part of your vaction and not a chore.

Should you arrive by your own car, kindly note that the ferries between Ao Thammachat (Mainland) and Ao Sapparot (Koh Chang) are operating only form 06:30 until 19:00, every 45 -60 minutes. The crossing time is approx 30 minutes.
